Big laptop case/backpack

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I just bought a dell inspiron 1720 off ebay for 850 bucks, its really nice, has the 8600gt, great value. Anyway, it has a 17" screen, and I kinda under estimated the hugeness of this laptop. This thing is a true tank, I was wondering if you guys know of any nice laptop backpacks that can actually hold some thing this big. I was gonna get the Pegasus that wenger/swiss gear makes, its suppose to hold 17" laptops but I heard that they usually run small. Any ideas? Or anyone know if I can get this laptop in a pegasus bag? Thanks!

The XPS backpack from dell is pretty sweet and will hold a 17" easy.

For some reason it says it fits a 15.4, but I know mine fit a 17".

Here are a few more for you.

Sweet, I especially like that XPS one you showed, but I would feel like a bit of a poser carryin around a Inspiron instead of an XPS....

I have a bag made by Port (I couldn't find a US site for them) which fits my 17" HP laptop perfectly with lots of extra room.

Targus also makes great laptop bags/backpacks. I'd suggest bringing your laptop to a store like Fry's, Office Depot or OfficeMax and see exactly how your laptop fits in the bags they have in stock. Those places have tons of bags to choose from.
