Did a cpu-z validate, also temps are high 30's low 40's idling currently. Im scared to do any bench for fear of crash.

more pics to come

Havent crashed yet, surfing windows. Thinking of running a 3d mark : \\

crash is nothing to be afraid of, it's the only way to tell if your system is stable! Run four instances of prime95 for a few hours. If your computer stays on, you've got a great oc!

I would run four instances of small FFT, but i know the temps would be unacceptable. Im gonna see if this is stable/ useful for gaming setup OC.

Maybe ill run crysis benches

Strange. I usually start 3dmark at over 100 FPS, but with this OC i start in the 90's. How could this have hurt my FPS?

I can get over 3800 out of mine with a load test for only 20min on the Small FFT, but nothing under load on the more demanding Lg FTT on a 9X...
The 8X is driving me crazy though

room temps are probably like 60 farenheit, i decided to go back to 3.6 after a crash doing small fft. lol.

But not before i posted at 3.92 once. Didnt try to let it go to windows.

Question, for a 3.6 such as i have, what would be voltages i would want for
FSB and HT? I have them currently at 1.4 for FSB and 1.3 for HT. Any other voltages that need boosting with a 3.6 OC?

I'd like to know as well. I think my HT is only at 1.25, and I'm trying to get to 3.6 and be stable. Will check this out...

sounds promising anyway. Would get it at least 3-6hrs prime95 stable even for gaming/benchies.

I bought mine last night and wasted no time seeing what it would do, got it up to 334x9 3006MHz and Im going to try and hit 3400, but I will be happy with 3240

my temps now are very acceptable

idle - 20-25
loaded 50

pcwiz 08 reads all 4 cores with a fluctuation from 36-30-34-27 (idle)

but my e4300 always ran 2 diff temps on the cores

Am I correct in monitoring the main CPU Temp when running prime95?
65 being the danger point of shakey knees?
