Zalman VF1000 and ZM-RHS88 on 8800GTS 512 - Page 2

Nice pics, thanks for those

ug, seems like a nice cooler but it completely blocks the sli plug, at least at the orientation the pics have it installed.

the GTS G92s have great stock cooling as is tho, don't see a need to go aftermarket unless you voltmod.

yeah, with g92 temps aren't really the main issue.

Whatever makes you happy i guess. Matches your cpu cooler and northbridge as well.

looks real nice.

I'm planning on voltmodding in the summer, when I hae time to test stability without school as a distraction.

Bumpdate: I get around 43°C GPU core while running 3dMark, and around 39 Idle. Is this any good?

There are no heatsinks for the mosfets with the Zalman?

Also, what do you use to read the temps? ATItool, Riva or GPU-Z (or something else)?

Nope, not yet. Those temps are on stock. The cooler was 49 on newegg, but that was back when it first came out.

No, there dont seem to be any mosfet sinks, everyone who I asked said that was fine. I used CPUID's hardware monitor to get the temp.

It's not a big deal with the mosfets. However, you should use ATItool or Rivatuner to measure you temps. GPUID can be off by up to 10C (lower) by what ive seen. ATItool and Riva usually show about the same exact temps and always higher than GPUID.
