Well for one, MicroCenter has Q6600 for $200 already so..lulz

and if you do some homework - you can pick up a Q6600 for $240+shipping...

So I still stand on my $20 price drop seeing as ClubIT and MicroCenter have them REALLY cheap

this is still going on??? man i thought they stoppedthis like 2nd week of march. any how go intel man yeah i still have my AMD rig and it's still my main rig yeah true but i'm upgrading w/c parts on it so it's down atm.
i recently built this one and the only reason was i went to micro center and i asked the salesman jokingly if they still had any quad cores and he got me one well i bought of course but at the sale price there's no proc out there that can touch it. so here we are.

I would think that if you could get a phenom over 3.0ghz you would be considered quite the overclocker and live up to this sites persuant of performance motto more than if you could brag about your intel clock since OCing an intel to high clocks at the moment is cake.
