Xbox 360 Warranty question.

Hey there guys.

I just need to know the following.

Does MS 3 year warranty cover all 360 consoles with ANY fault or just the RROD ? At current the fault in which I am asking about is E74 which can be either to do with the AV block or the Scaler chip. I just want to know if MS will repair it for free and if the 3 Year warranty covers all faults !

Also, Will MS repair the console for free? and if its a 2nd owner and the warranty seal is UNBROKEN ?

Thanks guys.

I think it depends on the behavior of the system. Basically, RRoD can be so unpredictable that if you fill out the paperwork as if you have RRoD they'll pretty much fix it.

I sent mine, which was just overheating and freezing after 30mins, and told them I usually get RRoD and stuff, and they fixed it for free and sent it back.

The work that can happen is they will tell you they won't fix it.

Hmmm...Well im sure they must test them. All it is is one RED light and an E74 Error which I have looked up here : http://www.llamma.com/xbox360/repair...rror-codes.htm

I just want to know if they are going to mess me about .

one red light isn't bad, just RMA it back to them and make sure you lie about the RROD, i mean MS lied to us about the 360 being ok to sell on the market, hardware malfunction....
