Weird issues with windows games

Thread Starter
I just tried to play a game of spider solitaire and found some crazy **** goin down. First of all there's this wierd outline around the cards that flashes all crazy like when it should just be solid. Then if I go into the options to turn off animations I can't click ok. Or cancel. I had to just close the options box. The same thing happens with the save game dialog you get when you try to exit. So to get rid of the save game dialog I have to click the x which is the same as cancel so it keeps the game open. To close the game I actually had to go to the task manager and end it that way. Even alt+f4 brings up the stupid save game box. Any ideas how to fix this? Can I reinstall just the games from the Windows disc without too much hassle? I don't even know if that will help but I thought it might be worth a try. It might be a driver thing or just a wierd issue with my hardware even. If anyone knows what it might be or if I just try to reinstall let me know. Im not messin with it right now though, its only spider solitaire lol.

Sounds like a driver issue to me... Uninstall your current driver, restart the computer, then download the latest WHQL. Seems like a minor corruption issue if this is only doing this in the windows built-in games.

I'd try the driver first.
