Brand, model, size, flow, and pressure...and what voltage you run them at.

And of course the configuration, push, pull, push/pull, push with shroud, pull with shroud, or push/pull with shrouds.

Right now, I have two Scythe 110cfm, unspecified pressure, 120mmx25mm fans in a pull configuation with a 20mm shroud. Not sure of the voltage, toward the bottom of a Zalman controller, maybe 5-7v. I have ordered two Panaflo 83cgm, .18" H20, 120mmx38mm fans to replace them.

Thanks,

David

I have a mix of enermax and arctic cooling fans
3 enermax 120mm 2 of them "out" the top of the case and one "in" the front across the ram

1 cooler master 120mm "in" the front across the HDD's

2 arctic cooling 120mm and one 92 1 PWM "in" the bottom. my Mboard has a second PWM control plug.

the other 120mm arctic cooling is "out" the back of the case and 92mm CPU fan are both run off the CPU PWM plug.

and I have a zalman vf700 for the vid card running on the 5v rail (low power)which is aprox. an 80mm fan I believe.

When you did your shroud test, did you leave 1 of each on each side, or use the three strongest?

I use 3 x 120mm Scythe fans, 3 x 120mm Antec fans, and 1 300mm fan (top for exhaust). I have one Scythe on the GPU over the HR GT, one Scythe blowing back from the hard drives over the 8800GT, 2 Antec in the front of the case pulling air in, one 120mm Antec pulling air out the back and of course the 300mm fan up top pulling air out.

On the shroud test I used 4-115cfm Pana, 2 on each side, and 4-108cfm Sunon, 2 on each side, matched pairs....The Sunon are the old 108cfm that are 6.8W not the 3.2W like they have at Petra's, they pull as good as the 115cfm Pana...I thought the 3.2W 108cfm Sunon would to,they have the same spec's just a reduced wattage rating, I have several and just never used them on a rad, when I did try them they had a lot less pressure..The reason I add that is so no one buys the 3.2W 108cfm Sunon as they don't perform well at all, about like a 86cfm Pana or maybe a little better...

Do run those at full speed? If so, isn't that rather loud?
