Page file disk.

Or give them away to somebody who may need them for a folding rig.
Run Kill Disk on them to get rid of the data.

Or take them apart and get the magnets out of them. I did this to 2 HDD that went bad. They are some mighty strong magnets.

Those magnets can hurt your fingers and/or break skin.

I use them to open library videos that the checkout person forgot to unlock.

My personal favourite: The Pickaxe. just pickaxe right through the top and through the disk platters. If once isn't enough, do it until you feel your data is gone for good!

Why would you put a page file on the slowest hard drive?

The screws look like little stars.

Buy Torx screwdrivers.

SAVE THE POOR HDD.

Its retro technology - dont kill it!

seriously speaking though - it would be a waste.

IF you want to ensure that the data that is on it never sees the light of day - there are several softwares out there that can THOROUGHLY wipe HDD's (some - to the extent that the FBI would have probs recovering anything!).

In addition to such a pass - your using the HDD's as auxillary storage in your PC's would ensure it experiences several writes/erases - with FURTHER lessens the chance or recovering ANYTHING.

dont destroy it - thats an utter waste.

im going to set up the smaller one but the other one is a 5.25/

But yes, the 5.25 incher is going bye bye, there is simply no need for it, and with important tax information, im not sure me, or my father would feel safe simply "deleting" the information.

Anyways, ill hook up that other one, its in MASTER, do i move it over to SLAVE, or Single...? ive never delt with IDE drives, this wont mess with my SATA HDD, right?

EDIT: Oh, destorying this drive shall be fun
