Help me find a great intake fan

Thread Starter
I have a P180 case and moved the 120mm PSU fan to where the upper hard drive cage was and it cut temps by 3-5 degrees but I think more can be done.

So what I'm looking for is a big powerful 120mm fan that will help keep my system as cool as possible.

I feel as if noise should not be an issue since I run my three current 120mm fans and my Rosewill Z3 (3000 rpm) at full speed all day, and it doesn't bother me much. So I don't think that there would be much of a noise increase for any fan, but if there will be for a fan you suggest, feel free to mention it .

Thanks,
My System

A higher speed yate loon? Anything with over ~70-80cfm will be plenty.

Maybe a scythe slipstream, they seem to be pretty popular

Well I think that the fan there now is 75-80cfm so I'd like something higher

Most fans faster that move more CFM than that are benching fans really. Loud and annoying, but this one has a lot of good reviews:

High cfm fans can be detuned with Speedfan and other utilities if so desired.

I know you said that noise isn't an issue for you, but the Noctua NF-S12-1200 fans are capable of doing 63 CFM with a noise output of 25 dBA. If the odd color scheme isn't an issue, I'd highly recommend these fans.

I have an 88cfm scythe slipstream in my bottom bay cooling my dirves and PSU, and used to have one on my video card, excelent fans.

The 110cfm version might be just what you are looking for, it won't be silent like the lower speed versions, but it should be more than tolerable for you.
