Ok ill play it that way. Every single fan ever created is garbage. They all wind up running at 50dba and push only 20cfm. Trust me. The only way to cool with air these days is loaning a jet turbine from Bombardier.
Im just saying I own a few top brands, and in real-world scenarios, Silenx pushed more air at lower RPMs. They make about the exact same noise as the popular Antec Tricools at medium, yet push only a bit less air then them at max. Then I look at the box:
Silenx (not Silenex) : 72cfm

Also that link did not even rate the Silenx fans.
You cant argue with simple aerodynamics. The blades are longer=more air pushed per round. Also make sure you use the rubber-silicon screw things for reduced vibration. And keep it at 1400rpm. Just my 2 cents, no need to say you know someone across the world who has a broken silenx and complains it pushes less air when he stuffs a log in it.
While it may not run at 14dba, as long as you use the rubber things to reduce vibration and make sure all the noise is on-axis, they will push the 72cfm quietly.
As for 14cm fans, Aerocools are not horrible. Go try and find a better 14cm with LEDs.
