Hey,

I have the plus version of the bored (wish I had known about this forum before)!

I have followed the guide for the p5n32, all the same options are available and I am running the 1002 bios! When in bios I select the unlinked option and raise the FSB, I save and restart, however the setting don’t apply and the CPU is still at stock settings! Would be great if any one has any ideas?

I ended up having to go back to 0901 to fix this problem.

hey,

Thanks for your reply, I will have to go and buy a floppy drive tomorrow and give it a go!

I will go back to the 9001 bios and hope that works!

Thanks Again

Greg,
You don't have to do it with a floppy. I did because I have one and I'm a bit of an ole' timer.

You could build a boot thumb drive or even a bootable cd and do it that way.

I have finally had time to try your suggestion and it worked fine, made a bootable flash drive in the end, worked fine!

Let the clocking begin!
