What are idling temps?

Well...not really .

However, I see a 3-5 degree change in my idle temps at night and in the morning. Therefore my question is, are the idle temps that everyone is posting simply the lowest temps they could achieve?

So if I was to report on my idle temps would I quote the ones in the morning or the ones at night?

Idle temps are just that, temps when your proc is not do any intensive apps, example sitting at desktop.

Post whichever you want, just note your ambient room temp.

Yea I know, that's how I've been measuring it, just wondering which ones to post and "brag about" but I guess it doesn't matter much.

Actually I don't care about idle temps.

Load temps is what I care about.

Load between 26-36C but I idle between 20-28C, which gives a delta of 6-8C. And that's what's important, not idle temps, but load and delta.

Idles and loads depend heavily on the ambient temps, but delta doesn't.
