Does this CrazyPC lapped TRUE look like crap?

Thread Starter
I got my Pre-lapped TRUE from CrazyPC on Wednesday and I opened it up to check it out and this is what I saw. You can see the imperfections pretty well in this pic. It is all on the metal, no dust or anything. I can't tell if it is tarnish or if it is imperfections in the metal grain. Should I send it back? I could sand it down myself but geez, I spent $20 for them to do this right so I wouldn't have to!

The surface is flat from what I can tell, but these specs are very unsettling to me.

*EDIT* I just emailed them and attached this picture. I will go and run some errands while I wait for them to reply. If I don't get a reply by the time I get home I will call them and see what they can do for me. This is my first dealing with them and they are a "hometown" (the state of Michigan anyway) company so I hope they are helpful.

Damn I don't like the look of that... but I know very little about lapping so Idk.

either scrub it a few times to remove the poop or send it back if they pay shipping. a few scrubs would probably do it, and small imperfections shouldnt do much as long as its flat and your thermal grease seeps into the little buggers.

Mirror finish isn't as important as flatness, as far as I understand.

-looks at picture-..... -barf- Well, someone didn't do something right! XD

Send it back to them, tell them you should be able to use it as a mirror when they are done with it XD
