Productivity, well come to find out the boards are horrible so all stock for now doing about 20 minutes a % all running Linux SMP...Good enough until I can get better mobos X 4

I had the KVM laying around, that and I know nothing about the remote desktop...Hell I couldn't even figure out FahMon on Linux...

I'm lucky I got the SMP to work...lol...

Thanks for all the comments folks, I really appreciate it...

I'm hoping to improve lil by lil as time goes by just wanted to get her up and cranking first...

Looks great. Try RealVNC: even I figured it out. At one time I think I had 8 rigs on VNC...it made it easy to see if any were hung up.

If you have a FRYS electronics near by, they have them as well.

I got the antecs from performance-pcs

What's got me abit confused is when I research the 610i board some places state you can use ddr2 800 ram but the egg only lists 667...I think that's what's holding back the OC...I don't have any spare 800 ram laying around to test either...

CD, I'm going to check out that RealVNC...I've been seeing that pop up more and more...

Sorry I haven't read through 8 pages, but I did have a suggestion:

I see that you're running Ubuntu on those rigs, but if you were to install, say, XP, run the SMP client on each one, as well as the GPU2 client (with a few Nvidia cards of course), you could crank out a ton more PPDs.

For remote monitoring on my server I just use SMB (samba) to share the FAH files on network which are then parsed by FAHmon, and SSH to control from my box. Way less complicated than swifting through hundreds of lines of X configuration to get VNC working.

In a way they already are. Some GPU2 WUs are dogs and take a lot of time and award very little points relative to other GPU2 WUs.

That's kind of what I'm planning except that's another $200 or so times 4, so after that not to much of a budget "cube" anymore lol...But I could handle another 15-20k ppd...

We shall see what the wife has planned...

Oh, it shouldn't be that much. You ought to be able to pick up 4 8800GTs for about $600.
