Will I lose dual channel with 4Gb on vista 32bit?

If I install 2X2Gb of ram in Windows vista 32 bit, it will only be able to adress 3.5 Gigs of it. On top of losing 25% of the memory you paid for , will I also lose dual channel too?

No, it won't recognize all the memory, but it will still run in dual channel. Why not run 64bit? If you don't have the dvd, you can get it from MS for $10.

If I buy 4Gb of memory it would only make sense to run 64 bit. Now I have to consider if all my apps/games will work.

Many of them do. All my games and apps work with it so far. Not sure about Rivatuner or ATI tool seeing as how I don't use my Vista too much.
