I feel you chipp, my electric/water/sewer bill last year for june-$170/July-$190/August-$180, this year June-$250/July-$260/August-$255...so its hurting me too.

Hmmm

Well AZ hasn't had a 100* Day in a few days....

My parents are pretty relaxed bout my comp being on now that is quieter.....

And if the next bill comes in a decent rate...

Hmm....

Guys, Ill see about starting up for Rough Riders again!

My original plan was to wait until December when its cold and I can take my comp back to my room... But we seem to be in a pickle here

Ill see what I can do about getting my desktop back online for 24/7 folding!

Edit: Kinda crazy how I just decided to look in and see how you guys were doing and happen to come to this

Its destiny ! lulz

well since going watercooling and finding that my chip sits happy where it is, which happens to be blistering fast for 24/7 usage, I have learned to be quite content with my settings.. I haven't touched my BIOS for a while now, and last time it was only to update to a newer version for bugfixes

My desktop should do well, however before vowing to anything, I should go "test fold" for a while to make sure there isn't any funny business cooking up

Is VMWare still the best way to fold for CPU on windows? Last time I remember disliking the number of processes it added to my startup list + the virtual network adapters were odd lol, but damn was it fast

Sounds good to me Free. Nice to see you back. You and Gooda always motivated the the team really good and kept us in first place. As for me. I have my hands full with the "bigshots" lol. I'm not too worried about my room being warm enough this winter with these rigs going full blast

Hey Free. Just PM Taeric and Chipp and the OP is yours. It'll be kinda weird to be greeted by a hyperactive kitty w/headphones. But I'm sure the Rough Riders will rock again. Best of luck!

haha yeah

Well last month's electric bill came in and it is still over $320 I basically explained to my mom the folding thing and she is fine with it, but she really wants me to wait till it cools off as the heat is uncomfortable and it runs up the AC more often at night which bothers my dad >_<
Hopefully by October the temperatures will suffice enough to were we don't need AC and I can load up my PC for folding 24/7.. as it stands though I probably wont be good for more than part time folding for ~12 hrs per day

I haven't been able to DL ubuntu1.5, the downloads are going at like 50k then disconnects anyone have a good link?

Guys, let me know what's going on with your team. The first thread lists only three folders, but the title says no members needed. Also, one of your members appears to be MIA.
