I'd overclock it more if I could, I just don't want to feed it 1.4v to be able to hit 4.2ghz.

I had two wu's go bad on me yesterday, both at 85 & 86%. I basically lost an entire days work and 3840 points. For some odd reason it says that I completed one wu and earned a measly 17pts.

Today I have completed two 2669's and I'm currently working on a 2665. So I'm on track for today with 3840pts, but tomorrow I'll most likely only have 1920 unless I finish this 2665 before 8pm or so.

Mike what jade said about 1.4volts is somewhat true, I keep my in windows under load volts under 1.39volts. So I bring up prime95 and cpuz and watch my core voltage, under load it should say 1.39v. Usually it drops from like 1.415v to 1.39v, vdroop. So if you at 1.3675 in the bios your not running that when you get into windows, so its something to check out.

You do have a point there. I have vcore set to 1.36v in bios and under load it fluctuates between 1.34v and 1.33v. I can probably raise the vcore a bit more and get some extra mhz. The thing is, that I don't want any more down time. As it is, I have been cheated out of 3 consecutive wu's now.
With the exception of the current 2665 that I'm working on, the four prior to this one have all been 2669. Out of those four, 3 have failed on me. The last one failed at 100%, then it aborted the job and deleted the work unit. The two before that one failed at 86% and 85%. Prior to those, I completed several 2669's with no problems.

Basically since it started occurring it has been like so;

2669 - 85% error
2669 - 86% error
2669 - 100% error
2669 - 100% completed
2665 - still working on

Yea sounds like you need to up your voltage a little in bios. You have cooling good enough for 1.4 in bios.
post #2990 of 4079
Raise your voltage so it reads 1.3620 under load using CPUz monitor

thats what you are aiming for....
