Thanks mega

How's that watercooling setup going for you? I remember that you had your share of problems with it.

Ya!! I got it all sorted out though

I just took it down yesterday, in order to fit it with its new components as my E6750 will be a dedicated folding machine and it won't be needing WC anymore lol. I am in the process of building my case for the case mod competition and once it will be done my Quad and WC will have their new home

Thanks for asking

i'm currently in the process of building my own phase change unit. it's time to get serious about overclocking... 4.0ghz... just isn't enough.

Nevermind.. there it is .. look at that heh.
Excellent work Johan The E8400 is an excellent chip for folding. I'm stable at 4.01Ghz. Phase change unit? Whoa. That sounds so much more advanced than my rubber band mod.
Gooda, what'd you do? Hire an Einstein here? Next thing you know he'll be talking about changing electron migration and developing cloaking devices.
Johan, the main thing to watch with the E8400 is the vcore. 1.3625v is the generally accepted max vcore. These 45nm's are a little more sensitive to voltage than the 65nm's
Way to go Johan! Welcome aboard!

hahaha Captain Gooda. Already motivating the new guy.
I checked your stats on Kakao Gooda. You definitely lead by example
Now if we can get Fyrestorm "Fyred up", and at least at warp factor 1, we should have a fairly decent ranking by the halfway point. Sounds like he's gonna be there soon on that version 6 WinSMP. Go Star Trekkers! errrrr. I mean Rough Riders!

haha.. yes yes.. i know. the good thing.. when i go phase change i'll probably spring for a new board such as a dFI (boards i'm used to) .. which would then allow me to get a quad just for folding .. of course with 5ghz mark in my eye.. on the wolfdale

5Ghz?!!! lol, that WOULD be a major feat! I just ordered a liquid cooling kit for my E8400. I'm tired of being stuck at 4.01GHz. I checked on those phase change units. They are definitely da bomb!
In team competition we have a 2 core Limit. Gooda folds on 2 cores, and uses the other 2 to blow away bad guys in Call of Duty 4. I'd keep the E8400 for folding (cause it rocks) and get the quad for everything else. Just my 2 cents worth.
