Thats why I haven't tried to push mine any farther. I have mine at 805/2005/2080(too bad its not a 260 huh?). I can do 7900ppd on a 353 pointer though.

If vmserver won't work then download vmplayer, if one doesn't work then the other will. Also make sure you download ubuntu 1.5 file not the older ones.

Is your card vmodded? I have the same card in another rig and the clocks are pretty low. I don't want to raise the fan speed any more since my parents use the computer, but I think that it's around 70% fan speed. Normally it would be too loud, but the P182 does a good job at covering up the noise. I think the clocks on it are 725/1836/1075 and temp is always mid 70's. Even though the fan is on 70% the P182's cooling isn't the greatest.

VMplayer works on V64 better than VMware server. On VMware server I had to disable driver verification or enforcement, what ever it's called, every time I booted. Other than that, I actually liked VMware server better. You can close it and still have it run in the background and I think it gives more options. VMware player still works fine, but when gibs helped me set it up he used VMware server.

No mike, its just a golden 8800GTS...I have no clue why. I have the fan at 85% and it never goes above 54C, mind you that mine is in a basement and the ambient never goes above 19C(usually its around 16C-17C) Also the minimum intake fans I have are 120mm TT thunderblade(78CFM) and delta 137CFM exhaust running full blast too.

What mike said, vmplayer seems to like 64 bit vista better. I have gotten server to work but its a pain.

I'm not really sure, I think that it's something high like 90°C, but I'm not positive on that. Mine reached 48°C today and I was stressing I had to lower my clocks because it crashed on me twice. The AC went out in my house and next thing I know it's like 85°F in my room.
