That time is about right for a 3043 WU. I get two 3043 WUs done in avg of 12m 23s, but then again I'm running 2 instances.

Pretty good though for running one instance!

Alrighty, I think I figured out how to install the SMP client.. I'm hoping someone can give me some direction to decrease the time per work unit again.. I have all my crap installed now & that's probably why it's kinda creeping along compared to CD's results for the rig. Btw, this thing ROCKS!!!

8:10 per percent.....hmmmm

Any tips, tricks or hints????

Thanks!

Ahhh... Okay I tried it, but got a warning about not using it with an overclocked system... is that okay to do?

I'll leave it as is if getting 1%/8 minutes is acceptable. I've got a bunch more configuring to do with all my software that I'm still bloating Windows with

I'm getting my Q6700 in the mail tomorrow! I can't wait to fold on that thing. On the Phenom I had the fastest I could achieve was 1% every 17 mins. I hope to get around 7 mins. That would be kick!

It is okay to use the -forceasm flag. The only reason is gives out warning is if your computer is unstable, it will produce errors. But since CD made sure your computer is rock solid stable, it is fine to use the -forceasm flag.
