Yeah something besides a different (but still solid-color) paint job would be cooler. This still looks nice and stands out though. Now we just need gunmetal versions of our TVs, receivers, speakers...

Well it's easy to find out if you've got yourself a Falcon-based console, and those seem to not be having any problems. Apparently the earliest Elites (Zephyr-based) are RRoD-ing as well, as evident in this thread, but the newer ones are Falcon-based. I think a 360 now is a pretty safe investment.

NG2 is not coming out for PS3. It's pretty much guarenteed.

I wouldn't be so sure, Team Ninja are big fans of Microsoft's machines. And Itagaki only ported Ninja Gaiden Black to PS3 to test how the Cell's architecture works (Itagaki is mainly a programmer, he wants to see each console's strengths before talking through his hat). They only made two games that aren't on Microsoft's consoles (Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword and Ninja Gaiden Sigma).

Furthermore, Microsoft Game Studios is publishing the title instead of Tecmo this time. I think Microsoft's trying to secure Team Ninja and and turn it into a first party studio.

Bah, that would only mean their games would be ported to PC one year after their 360 releases...

I've heard reports of those RRoD-ing too, not sure how rampant it is though.
