intel cpu overclock question

i have a myoda desktop. not sure if it was custom built or by a company, i'm not the first owner. well any it has a intel pentium 4 processor. i went to the bios and stuff and couldn't find how to overclock it. does anybody know a program i can get to overclok it in windows. also it's running on windows xp with like 1.5 GB of ram.

any help is appreciated!!!

no overclocking with laptops (heat)

locked bios=no OC.

You could use some software to OC, but like I said in a laptop heat is a big issue at stock

Its not worth doing, you might get 5-10% and stability is a big issue.

I overclocked my computer useing clockgen but im not sure if it is a good idea to use it on a laptop.

by the way im new i only just overclock my computer

Sell the desktop on craigslist for some better parts you buy on ebay. Craigslist is a sellers market for computer stuff, I find, whereas ebay is a buyers market. Or trade on the forum. Or be happy with what you've got.

If you want to overclock, you're not going to have much luck with what you've got. Sorry, rock and a hard place, I know...
