It is completely regular, that NVIDIA partners has already prepared the announcement of this card and wait for official announcement in order to begin sale. Here, for example, the EVGA 9800 GTX.

3x 9800GTX seems like it would be cheaper and faster than 2x 9800GX2.. Guess we'll have to wait and see.
