yessir it comes with the territory i definitely bought a load of both tools and hardware during my initial phases for modding
Thanks alot

lol, rite now the two tools that I want most (and that I think would be most useful), are a power sander and a bench router.

.. Do they make a tool that can sand well and buff (for like the clear coat on paint)?

You could probably get a variable speed angle grinder and grab some sanding disc attachments for it/buffing pads. But they are $$$ and a little over kill for these applications. Not sure of a smaller alternative. I think you'd be better just using your hand sander you have (Im assuming you have one from earlier posts) and grab a mini buffer.

But why do you need a buffer??

Now, that bondo...... That looks NASTY! Lol, all will come soon grasshoppa! It just looks scary now, get the rough clumps sanded down and it will look better! I also agree you should make the ports/holes larger than you need b/c you'll have a/b a 1/2" of bondo inside them. (think freeroller said that) Looks good though man, you'll prob have an update up by the time I get out of class today! LOL

It should be! A good PC is not built unless you expend some blood, sweat, and tears!

I cannot tell you how many times I have sliced myself open on my sound card, video card, and especially, my CPU cooler.

This is tempting me to try something like it. Maybe make my AeroEngine look more like an airplane?

Nice job. How tough is it to use bondo? Tell me how it is to sand down too (once its sanded)

hmmm, O well I will just sand it the old fashioned way. I do not have a hnad sander... but I do have my "hand sanders".. Good ol elbow grease.

Well at this point I don't need a buffer, but I was thinking it would be nice to buff out the clearcoat on the paint when the time came, but since there isn't a whole lot of area on my case it would probably be best to do it by hand.

lol well depending on when you get out of class, it mite be possible.. Yeah the Bondo is definitely far from smooth. The problem was that it would stick better to the plastic applicator than it would to the foam, so when I would try to spread it smoothly it would come off. That is why I had to let it clump on more instead. I may have to make some of the holes bigger like the front openings, I dont think I will need to make the top ones bigger because they are already a bit bigger than they need to be.

lol, that would be interesting.

It isn't "hard" to use it, it is just time consuming. I am dreading hand sanding the bondo down, it is definitly going to take a long time.
