Other than that, you can try any local PC store (Local type, not big stores like Best Buy etc) and see if they have any old cases in the back. If you're nice and tell them you're wanting to get into case modding they might donate you one for free.
hmm I have all three of the places rite down the street, I will definitely give them all a try.

Thanks to you both

Its 99% done, just have to cut the plexi for the side window and front window, and if I have free time cut a few fan grills.

@ agent456

If you hadn't read the progression, the visions changed along the modding stages & the cans were a suggestion from another member if I recall correctly. Second to that, he wanted it to be different from the others.

I can't wait till you make your way into Syrillian or CyberDruid's build logs to comment ....

Agreed. Report the post and keep it moving. I refuse to let LastShot's great thread get boogered up.

I like it. The paint aced the project for sure. As I recall, there is more potters foam than bondo in the shaping right? It had to reduce the weight somewhat. the egg-shell mod ftw!

do you get your name from the car? My dad used to have one, says it had a great engine .

Don't worry lastshot, I love your casemod I think that bondo is the best option, and it is much more durable than paper mache. That's what you use when you're making something for a 5 year old...

no worries here, I like my case mod and I don't really care what some new user like him has to say. Yeah I don't think I would ever use paper mache.
