In terms of comfort and crisp sound, how are these headphones?

They are excellent, for $20 or so. They're a great deal, but they're not your HD650.

They're not the most comfortable phones in the world. Honestly, unless you can't stand clip ons, I'd go for some Koss KSC75's, they'll be better in most everything, especially after a kramer mod. Plus, there is a mod that lets you use a headband with them.

I can't stand clip ons. Over the ear is a must for me.

In that case, they'll be about your best overall value until you get closer to the $50 mark.

I've got the 202's, which I can only assume would be an improvement on the 201's, and am very pleased with them for still about ~$25. Not the most crisp sound in the world, but they definitely are the best sounding headphones I've heard for less than $50.
