DDR2 1066 won't run above 1000

This is the RAM.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820134218
It is in a P5B deluxe WiFi board, E8400 ....
I can get to run at 8.5 X 500 FSB, but it won't run at 6X505. I'm just assuming it's the RAM otherwise why else won't it run above 500?
I even bumped up the vdimm to 2.3 from 2.2 and tried loosening the timings from 5-5-5-15 to 6-6-6-16, also 18. Still won't go over 500.
BTW this board won't run at anything but 1-1 ratio.
Should I RMA it?

Did you check if its really the RAM that is the problem? It might be a FSB Hole, or did you pass the hole already?

No FSB hole there, I tried from 500 to 550 still won't work. Also there's no FSB hole under that either. Went up from 333 to 500 in increments of 5 FSB. No holes at all.

Is there and SPD rated settings for 1066 for the RAM. I take it theres many versions of the HyperX, but if you have the same one i have and trying to take it to 1066, 2.3v isnt gonna be enough probably. Whats the basic settings for the ram?
can you use a divider on the ram, if yes keep the FSB low and bump the ram up

Run a divider so you don't overstress the nb.
My fsb tops out about 525 on my P5B Dlx, not stable either.

It's not the memory.

If you need to be convinced, raise the CPU multi back up to 10, or 9.5 (which ever is the max), then proceed to oc the memory as usual.

The board won't POST at any divider, will only run at 1 to 1. Tried it with 3 different kinds of RAM, all different voltages and many different timings. I also bumped up the NB quite a bit(1.5 I think) and bumped up the SB also. I tried everything I can think of to get it to run at other than 1 to 1.

I don't think it is the memory either. And I'm having a hard time accepting that your motherboard will only run at 1:1. That board is too popular to have such a glaring flaw.

It'll run at 8.5X500(4.25Ghz), but it won't run at 6X505(3.03Ghz almost stock). It can't be the CPU.
