Will adding xtra voltage hurt my board, or does it help with stability? I know that add vlts adds to heat so I kinda need some input please!
Lunatic, changing the voltages can do both. Too much voltage can damage a component but the right amount can help stability. In regards to your processor, raising the voltage with overclocking will bring stability but can also raise temps. I typically recommend not going over 1.45volts with air cooling setups. High voltages over time can cause electromigration
but we're talking like 1.5-1.6+ volts 24/7. With that I'd go with something more extreme like H2O.
Just make your best judgment and when you start to see the temperatures rise, drop the voltages and keep testing.
