Weird Load Temps(Pls Help)

Hey guys... ive been through 3 different heatsinks,
and i finally found one that has giving me incredible idle temps on my quad.

All data on a 3.2-3.3 Overclock on the q6600 CPU,
unlinked x9multi with 400~ FSB 1.26-1.27Vcore

-I started with Thermaltake Beetle and had like 48-50C Idle temps
-Then switched to the Thermaltake Mini Typhoon (lapped) and temps went to 44-45C.
-Yesterday i had an extreme comp genius recommend the Thermaltake-V1
So i put it in and to my surprise my idle temps went to 34-37C idle. The heatsink came with a mirror shine like i have never seen a heatsink come from the factory with. No lapping was needed at all... I bought it Lapped LMAO....

Here is the problem.... i just ran a prime95 small and my cpu temps started rising and would not stop rising.... just kept goin and goin and goin... i was like ***???? what the hell is going on.... Has anyone experienced this before ?? Or know what usually causes this.... because in the past i have always noticed the load temps usually 20-30 Degrees higher then Idle.
Please help guys.... whats up ?

the h/s might need to be reseated, you might of put too much thermal compound on. possibly a combination of both.

Okay I will try.

First things first that is not the best cooler out there especially for a quad. I know you just bought it but your extreme comp genius should have recommended a TRUE or Tuniq Tower for a quad.

Next start with the basics. Is the fan connected properly and is it spinning at maximum speed? It should be spinning around 2000RPM.

Have you tried reseating it to see if it helps? Also refer to this guide from ArticSilver on how to apply the thermalpaste.

Try those things first, and reply back if you need more help.

Tuniq and True are the best Not that one tighten your heatsink down more or less thermal paste.

Okay... i know how to seat
ive seated 2 or 3 times checking temps and have gotten it perfect as far as the seating goes...
i know how much compound to use... a thin line down the center... DUH DUUUUR!
and this friend of mine has been building computers for years and years and said that he has already built about 20 something PC's for people all around the city using this V1 and they yield extreme results.... and i have noticed the results myself.... this cooler was awarded the Official WCG 2007 CPU Cooler.
Im not looking for a thermalright 120 or a tuniq.... i dont care to wait weeks for those to come in the mail.... most out of stock.... and i dont use credit cards...
Hopefully this eliminates the responses that make me feel like im being talked down to.... Thanks for those responses though... i will try reseating a 4th time.
35C idle.... and this is a quad....
Yes my fan is spinning and yes its at max speed.

I apologize if any responses seemed condescending, but we were just trying to help eliminate any problems. Since you didnt list anything you tried, your level of expertise, and the fact you bumped your own post twice we were forced to start with basics. I hope you can get it all worked out.

OKay thanks franz.... i'll re-post after my 4th seating.... and try a small fft again..... see if they keep climbing .... it just seems weird how my idles are so darn low... lower then i have ever seen them at almost a 1.30vcore and oc'ed at 3.2 playing games temps stay at or around 45C but the stresser takes it 40-50 degrees higher then Idle temperatures.....
