Memory Amount ?

Thread Starter
So I just added 2 more GB of ram (I bought the same sticks from Newegg that I bought when I built the system last year. When I look at the system info via the icon in the control panel, it only shows 3.25GB of ram, when I look at task manager, it shows 3.4... cpuz shows 4GB. All sticks are installed and locked in place correctly. Is this normal?

Beat me to it, yep, you need a 64 bit OS to see all 4Gb. You really wont regret 64 bit now, the driver support is a lot better than it was when it came out.

unfortunately he's correct, if you want to utilize all 4 gigs, you need a 64bit OS.
