P5ND2 SE Overclocking problem....

Hey all,

I'm new to this forum and also new to overclocking so I'm still kind of a big newbie to this.

In my BIOS there is a setting called JumperFree Configuration. When I configure the AI tuning setting to AI overclocking, I can choose 9 different options: Overclock 5%, Overclock 10%, Overclock 15%, Overclock 20%, FSB 1280/800,
FSB 1000/667, FSB 1333/667, FSB 1200/800. Whenever I choose one of these options, my computer will freeze on startup at the ASUS Logo screen. I some times can choose to go into BIOS but some times it freezes too when I am in the BIOS.

Somehow I managed to reset my BIOS settings to default again, and every thing works as normal. Does any one know what the problem is with this overclocking option because I really want to overclock my processor (Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 (Conroe))

Thanks for your time and sorry for my poor english.

Veers

Read the link in my sig to the Intel Overclocking guide. Read that and try overclocking via the bios yourself instead trying to let the bios do it, you will be much more successful.

Okay thank you very much! I will try to manually put in all the parameters. It's kind of complicated for me as a newbie ^^
