Have tried to update the bios on this motherboard but just cant seem to get it working. Asus update program doesn't work because the server is always down or busy. Ezflash will not work either for some reason I download the updated bios to a floppy and renamed it to p5nd.ROM or p5n-d.ROM like it says on asus website but when I push altxF2 at post ezflash cant find the downloaded bios in drive A. (I know im missing a step somewhere just cant figure it out)

Can someone help me please?

1. Download the Bios to your hard drive.

2. Right click and extract the file to your to your flash drive, don't rename it.

3. Restart the computer and hit Del. to get into the Bios.

4. Use the left and right arrows to go to Tools, it's the one just to the right of Exit.

5. Enter Asus EzFlash 2

6. After your in EzFlash insert the flash drive

7. Use the up and down arrow keys to select the file.

8. Hit enter and that should take care of it.

I think it is the renaming of the file which is causing the problem. As I have never done that, used the above, and have loaded the last two updates easy.

Let us know if this works for you.

This post refers to a BIOS update. If you're looking to update a driver you just have to use the latest one. If you mean a BIOS update just get the latest one there also.
