Ive gotten to 3.75 on stock volts (1.1) with all settings left on auto -- only things changed are multi to 9 and fsb.

Im prime testing as we speak.

-- the temps load (if they are actually correct) is 32 according to coretemp.

Ive discovered that the Droop Control should be disabled due to the fact that when enabled, it will sag while booting etc. Disabled will yeild a higher OC on the CPU

Hello GeekMan,

That Gemini cooler is a true monster!!

I had the Zalman CNPS9700 installed, so there was no place left for a NB fan. Being caught between the 9700 and the hot Dual GPU below, the NB became very hot, starting at about 124°F (51°C) in Idle mode.

Replacing the 9700 with a waterblock made place for an 80mm fan on the NB heatsink.

That resulted in great air-cooled temperatures on the chipset. (Fan @ 7V, ca. 1200rpm)

How about your NB, no overheat problems with the passive cooling?
I've decided to cool the entire rig with water: 4x GPU, VRAM, NB, SB, MOSFETs, HDDs etc.
Plus the CPU with sub-zero cooling (VapoChill)

And all that on the wonderful DFI LP DK X38-T2RS

Cheers!
