Anybody like the new Airbook? Is it overpriced? (It's Apple...that's a given right?)

For 1000 a laptop with a dedicated GPU of something better than a 5700 is iffy..there might be a few out there but I think uber would require 1500 range, or somewhere in between.

Just a tip, do not choose hardware that puts out a ton of heat (i.e. quad core, uber video). In about three years, things will stop working.

I had this experience my self. I bought a notebook with desktop hardware. The damn thing is so unreliable it's basically useless. It randomly shuts down on me and what not.

yeah, keep gaming and laptops separate.

the faster the lappy (specially graphics) the battery life will be crap and if the screen is too big, it kinda defeats the point of a portable laptop. id say 15.4 at max, but thats still pushin it if you plan to carry it around a lot.

edit: although that toshiba does seem pretty good for the price... depends on how large u mind the laptop being.
