pbn_sean, I sent you a PM with the build list. I figure I'd post it here for others to see.

You said you already have the keyboard/mouse, monitor, OS, and speakers. So this is the rest (minus the case/fans), for ~$500. That leaves about $100 for those.

This is the list @ Newegg.com

Here are the components:

Motherboard: Abit IP35-E. Great board with the P35 chipset - one of the best overclocking chipsets around. No RAID function, however. So if you need that, you may want to upgrade to the IP35 Pro.

GFX Card: Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 3650 512MB. The performance is comparable to the 8600GT, but with 512MB of memory. You said you don't game much, but this should work if you choose to play a few (at a very reasonable price of 80 bucks).

Power Supply: Corsair 450VX 450W PSU. Corsair makes some of the most reliable PSU's out there. This thing should last you for a while and can power lots of peripherals, and even enough juice on the 12V Rail for an 8800 series card (if you decide to upgrade in the future.) Not bad for 80 bucks.

Processor: Intel E2180 2.0GHz Dual-Core CPU. This CPU has almost become legend in the overclocking realm. You won't have any problem OC'ing this puppy to at least 3.2GHz with decent air cooling. Based on the "Conroe" CPU, but has less L2 Cache (which doesn't impact performance a great deal in most cases) and costs considerably less.

Memory: A-Data 2x1GB DDR2-800 (PC2-6400) Kit. This RAM has been really popular at Newegg and even on OCN. Very overclockable and reliable.

Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar RE 250GB SATA II. IMO, Western Digital makes some of the most reliable HDD's out there. This is a fast drive, too, with 16MB Cache.

DVD/CD Drive: Samsung 20X DVD±R / CD+RW Combo Drive. I have this drive myself and it's awesome. Burns great DVD's and CD's very quickly.

CPU HeatSink: Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro. Very popular HSF. Works extremely well for dual core CPU's. It should cool that E2180 without any problems, even at high volts if you choose.

Hope this helps, any feedback would be great.
