Yes, but I wasn't exactly that... Did he overclock better for example? Or maybe simply better FPS? What was the situation that made him have that opinion?

I've had troubles with certain games using nVidia drivers with my setup. For example, UT3 kept locking up and freezing.

I later installed the newest EVGA drivers and it fixed the problem.

I always thought the manufacturers (EVGA, BFG, XFX) got their drivers from Nvidia. I thought they were the same exact thing. I could be wrong though.
