Ok so, new rig is coming up and is gonna be oc'ed to the max, all i need is good ram to let me so,

Which ram should I get. Max is 120 dollars. Looking for 2-4 gigs of highly oc'able ram

Found:
Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X2048-6400C4
Corsair XMS2 DHX TWIN2X2048-6400C4DHX
Crucial Ballistix Tracer PC2-6400
G.SKILL F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ
Mushkin HP PC2-6400
Patriot Extreme Performance PC2-6400

Which of these is better, or suggest me one. (btw whats the difference between the DHX and the non DHX?)

The Corsair ones look very promising according to http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/mem...0_2.html#sect0

And whats the highest clock you got on them and the tightest timings?
huh, i click on it and get the web page. anyways, the timings are loose stock, 5-5-5-15, thats what i'm running right now. i have them at 950mhz, i just did a mobo swap and haven't got into tweaking them anymore. i'm running these settings right out of the box.

The DFI dark only supports DDR2-800

f3t1sh, i
If you can swing the extra $24
the G.Skill 4GB (2x2)1066 PK Kit is only $144
They're G.Skill's newest memory offering, 8-layer PCBs, PSC IC's and I've seen guys over at the XS forum get them to 1200+ on close to stock volts and timings .
otherwise, the 1000 PQ kit is used by loads of people on high end DDR2 rigs and really can't be beat for the money. (I wouldn't expect the high clocks that gman463 got- he's exceptionaly lucky- most G.Skill 1000 (2x2)kits top out under 11.)
Cheers

Thanks, I guess were going G.Skill
But is it worth the money when DirectCanada is having some deals on the ram i stated above? I mean 50 some bucks for 4g, very tempted.

those other Gskills(6400) aren't bad at all. you just might not be able to o/c as high, and they run 5-5-5-15 also. if your on a budget i would say go with the 6400's, if your looking for performance and dont mind spending the extra cash, get the 8000's.
