FX5900 any good?

Thread Starter
I've just had my 9800 pro pack in on my second system and having recently been convereted to Nvidia was wondering if the FX5900 would be a worthy replacement. If you have any other suggestions they have to be similarly priced and AGP!!
Thanks!!!!

no, 5900 bad! stick with the GeForce 6 series, and get the best one within your budget. 6600GT is a great card for the price, but if you want to crank up the graphics all the way, you'd be better off with a 6800GT or ultra.

Guys, you're all missing the point. He's not trying to replace the 6600GT for the FX5900. He wants to know if it's worth replacing the 9800pro for the FX5900. I say no to the FX and yes to GeForce 6 (or 7) series.

Ya, get a 6 series card. Are you going to be gaming with that comp? If so, I would get a MSI 6600 GT . If you are on more of a budget, get a vanilla 6600 .
