G.skill HK's and 790FX

On my sig rig, I have not been able to get my ram stable at any speed. I have tried as low as 667 all the way to 960, I have tried the voltage from 2.0v to 2.35v, I have tried timings from stock of 4-4-3-5 all the way to 6-6-6-18. I know this ram has overclock ability, because I used to run it at 4-4-3-5 2T around 950mhz, or 820mhz at 4-4-3-5 1T. I have the most up to date bios, I have underclocked it, if I check orthos on the cpu tests everything is fine. When I run the one that tests ram as well, it fails within seconds. Any clues, I am wondering if its just not compatible with my DFI, because I know it worked flawlessly with my evga 590sli.

Well do you have a friend with a 790FX board. Also, try their forum: http://newgskill.web-bi.net/gstechforum/index.php

Personally, I think it's RMA time. When it doesn't boot in your board at all and it's rated for DDR2, it's time to RMA the RAM. Or have you tried putting your friends RAM into your motherboard as well?

My friend picked up a 790FX and low and behold his hks don't work, nor do mine in either board. So I sold my HK's and picked up some HZ's, they work fine.
