9800GX2 help needed

Thread Starter
OK guys received my 6 to 8 pin power adapter today. I installed the card. Skippped using the installation disk that came with the card and downloaded the newest driver. Restarted and now screen looks as if I am zoomed in. Only thing I have set up differently from the 8800GTX's set up is that I am using the HDMI connector. Any iformation will help. Colors look like crap right now as well.

28" monitor

Can't be that easy?

That shouldn't matter as I was using an DVI to HDMI connector before, but then again, who knows?

Resolution rings a bell? Lol all you have to do is right click, go to display properties and move the slider all the way to the right.

Ding!!! Resolution is set to max, 1920x1080. Already checked that. I will try connecting my DVI to HDMI cable and see what happens. Unfortunate I will not be able to use the HDMI out for the monitor that I have.

Check the refresh rate of the monitor and ensure your display adapters refresh rate is the same. Sounds like wrong resolution to me though.

That doesn't make a difference. I am going to try and start over. Reset to before I started the installation.
