3870 memory clock problems

Thread Starter
I just got my diamond viper 3870 and already have a question about its clock speeds
It was advertised having a 775MHz core clock and a 2400MHz memory clock
In the Catalyst, its reading as having a 777MHz core clock and a 1126MHz memory clock! less than 1/2 what it should be at.
Is there somthing that I'm missing here?

The memory is GDDR so 1126ddr x 2 = 2252 effective speed.
2252 might be 2d speed, best thing to do is stress your card while monitoring the speeds in Rivatuner.
