How do I overclock my Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600?

Thread Starter
I need help on OC'ing my core2quad Q6600. I have an EVGA nForce 680i SLI mobo. Can anyone please include steps on how to OC my CPU?
I want to get it to at least 3.0GHz, or more if possible.

that would be my first suggestion...

do a google search as well for "Q6600 nforce 680i overclocking" too.

Its very helpful to read alot before you get too into it if its your first time OCing. But 3.0 with a Q6600 on a 68i should be a breeze.
