Thread Starter
Hello,

My desktop once in a while, it display blue screen saying something like "physical dump" and automatically restart on it own. I had this sort of experience before on a different computer but the blue screen stays and i have to manually restart the computer. In this cause it display blue screen very quickly and restart itself. Its happen very frequent, randomly every 45mins-1hr

is there any hotfix to solve the issue?

My memory is fine, i've tested with memtest for nearly 4hrs without any errors.

Hey I used to have a P4 650!!

Anyway, sometimes bad drivers will cause a BSOD. Check and make sure all of your drivers are up to date.

The only other thing I can think of is that your NB isn't receiving enough voltage. I can't confirm that though.

Did you use the memtest that you boot from, or the memtest in windows? Do not use the windows memtest version; it's VERY inaccurate.

Also, are you overclocked? Try Prime 95.

CDO,

thanks for the quick respond, BadDrivers what sort of driver are we talking about and how to detect or monitor it?

as long as voltage goes i think i should be fine, mine is 750Watt PSU, haha i'm sorry what is NB?

Yeah, mine is p4 650EE been runing fine. i'm thinking about upgrading. Do you feel any changes from single to quads-core? as far as dvd ripping and photoshop or even video editing?

Check and make sure your video drivers are up to date. I don't know what else you have installed.

Nvm, don't worry about NB voltage.

I upgraded my whole system so I can't really comment on specific hardware.

Disable Auto restart so you can get the error.
R/Click My Computer> Properties> Advanced> Start Up and Recovery, Settings> Under system failure uncheck Auto restart.
