I GUESS you are technically correct. However, I've never heard anyone say to me, "Can you come take a look at my Mac PC?" Apple is completely fine with the distinction. They created a whole ad campaign based on NOT being a PC...

Hes talking about the PC as in custom built computers and computers build by dell, HP and such. Apple is the only people that can build a computer and put OSX on it. But even if they did I dont know why anyone would want to put it on instead of windows Vista. In my opinion its as stable as windows has ever been, havent had any problems so far.

Macs are PCs. End of story. Really, those dumb mac adverts should say "Hey I'm Windows" and "Hi I'm OSX". I made a post on this a while back, those adverts really bug me. I wouldn't even mind if they just made the distinction that they are comparing operating systems. I mean, if the acronym "PC" meant "a computer that runs the Windows operating system" then whats a computer called with a linux distro installed on it? A ubuntu? A slackware?

Then Apple would get sued for using the word "Windows" in their ad campaign.
