Simply because the games are more advertised.
You ask most people that are not PC gamers/builders and they will not even know what Starcraft is.
The problem is, games can/are console sellers.
But games will never be a PC seller. No one will justify spending so much on a PC because 'one' game looks good.
And here is were people will say:
"People spend $$$$ for Crysis"
That is different, people who already own PC's built top dog rigs for Crysis. I would like anyone to find one person who built a rig ground up (who isn't a frequent PC gamer) for any PC game.
Sadly it just doesn't happen
That's why PC games will never be big hits.
