Confirm my choice please

About to buy this for an AM2 build. The computer is only going to be used for basic internet browsing, office applications, etc.

$65 - Gigabyte GA-MA69VM-S2 AM2 AMD 690V Micro ATX

It's being paired with either my 1.5 year old X2 4200+ or the X2 4000+ I'm getting through the combo deal for $40 and stock cooling. Also using 2x1GB basic DDR2 (TBP), IDE optical drive, SATA HDD (TBP), and powered by an Antec earthwatts 380W. Overclocking is unlikely but I might kick it up 200-400MHz for the heck of it.

Please let me know if this board is decent or a nightmare waiting to happen. I need integrated graphics and don't want to spend $80 for a 7050, but if you know of a $65 or less board that's better than this I'm all ears.

Durch, I bought this board with a 4000+ X2 for a friends build and it went well. I did not run into any problems at all. He's currently using the onboard DVI port. The BIOS all though didn't seem like it offered to many overclocking options.
It's a nice board with a passively cooled chipset. You made the right decision

Good luck on your purchase

Perfect, I was hoping someone has used this board before. Now if only I can find a cheap SATA HDD I'm all set. My aunt is going from a P3 to this (and she has no idea I'm building it hehe). Can't wait to see her jaw drop.

Durch, oh wow that will be a nice step up from a P3 system. My neighbor runs this board with a 52" Samsung LCD in his garage. Apparently the integrated graphics card handles at the resolution it detects. Cable wise it's a DVI to HDMI adapter. Pretty sweet if you ask me
