Nice to see that a pair of 512MB GTS in SLI beat a single GX2. I only paid $500 for my pair, that would be about $100 cheaper than a GX2.

I bet my GTS overclock better as well...

With all do respect Robilar, those cards were not $250 a piece when they came out as I was looking into purchasing a few. At this point, yes I would have to agree that 2 8800GTS (G92) are better than 1 9800GX2, but then again your maxed out. You cannot add another card.

SLI won't scale that well at low-res, from what I remember SLI was created for high-res gaming, because a single 6800GT wasn't enough.

That´s what i´ve been trying to say, this card is nothing new,it´s just more from the same dude.
I think that dual gpu cards are a flop and a waste of money,i believe that nvidia has no intention to release a new kind of gpu or a new architecture,i think they are just saving their new chips for later much later maybe if 99xx cards come out.
I´ll be there buying a new card because those aren´t really new and we all know that,ok the 9800gtx and gx2 might perform well but they still are more from the same thing and they are just trying to sell it because it´s a 9 series card, come on what a crap bull****.
Oh yeah i forgot the 9600gt was the first card of the series, let me say it again A MID-END card all they did was to take the g92 and make it worse.

That logic is as about as smart as saying I won't buy a quad core because a quad core is just two dual cores. LMAO.
