Just as the title says which monitor?
It will be used for my 360 and PC
Samsung 2493HM W/HDMI

HP w2408h w/HDMI

Viewsonic VX2835WM w/HDMI

I also welcome other recommendations as well.

The Samsung has both a DVI and HDMI. I have the Samsung 2693HM. Great monitor!

If it was me and I had the money I would get the Samsung out of those 3. Great contrast ratio.

I have the Samsung 2693HM. However, to me, the HP looks like it has the better color contrast due to the glossy screen. I evaluated the HP and the 2493HM as well. I would have gone with the HP if it wasn't for the lack of inputs and reviews from people complaining of slight input lag.

If the viewsonic is in your range, then you should highly consider this:

The samsung has great quality. I use one at work for 3d rendering. Looks great. I cant speak for the Viewsonic but I have seen the HP in the store and it just doesnt look as good. Maybe it is the really glossy screen. THe samsungs screen is not but the cabinet is glossy. It looks great. The HDMI is a plus also. The Viewsonic may be a better quality because of the increased price and im not sure about what panel it is either. For under $500 the samsung is best.
