Top board, you need DDR3 Ram though, so you have to buy that as well.

ok well i just got some money from the sale of my house so yea ill buy new MB ram but im kinda thinking new CPU time what do you guys recommend ive got like 1500GBP to spend on this.

tbh get a second hand QX9650 from ebay and save £100, you'll get one for £500 instead of £600+
Get the 790i if you're happy replacing your RAM with DDR3 ram,you can get it alot cheaper than the one I linked too.
If you're planning SLI or tri-sli get 790i.
If not some of the X48 boards are impressive.

Stay away from XFX everything as here in the UK their customer service and warranty is pathetic.

A Q9450 or Q9550...if you wait a while and see how the Q9450s overclock...they are much cheaper than the 9550s. Still, your Q6600 is a very good CPU man and you are more likely to gain from an SLI or quad-SLI setup (had you decided to opt for the 790) instead of a very expensive CPU.
