8800GT BIOS Help!

Thread Starter
Alright, I have been thinking about this and I will finally do it. A BIOS mod from EVGA located here:

http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=...1&key=&#176929

After extracting the program and completely removing the drivers (w/ Driver Cleaner Pro also) and restarted, I run the update.exe for my 8800GT (512-P3-N801-XX) and I start to flash it. After on, it detects it and I start the process. After, it clears and stores my BIOS, but then after it closes without touching anything. I restart, and boot back safely. But the BIOS version is still 62.92.24.00.XX. Any idea what that means?

Use Nvflash instead. It's really easy if you have a floppy available- a bit tougher without one. PM me if you need help.
